The Salisbury Public Library has a solution!
You may have noticed that we have been building up our eResources and programming since we moved into our new building! Your new library is not just your Grandmother’s library, but a multi-faceted community resource that offers many services intended to improve and enrich life for every member of the community. This month we are promoting RB Digital Magazines.
Learn about your ancestry with access to more than 7,000 available databases on Ancestry Library Edition. Search through sources like censuses, vital records, and more.
The Library has an institutional membership to American Ancestors by the New England Historic Genealogical Historical Society. Browse hundreds of unique searchable online databases, offering more than 1 billion searchable records.
Both of these resources are available for in house use only at the library. If you're trying to access from home they will not work.
To see the children's event calendar visit the
Children's Room page.
You can now find our latest book and video arrivals by clicking on the Wowbrary logo wherever it appears on our site.
You can also sign-up to receive our email newsletter that lists the books and videos, along with a wealth of other information that you should find interesting and informative.
Celebrating our 10th Anniversary
The next book club discussion will be Tuesday, June 5th at 6:00 p.m. at the Salisbury Public Library. We will be meeting upstairs in the conference room. This month we are reading Young Jane, by Gabrielle Zevin. The book club, open to all, meets once a month for discussion of a selected title. The library will make available extra copies of the book selected each month. Participation in the Book Club is free, and no registration is required.
It is never to early to reserve a museum pass. Visit our Museum Pass page to see what we have to offer. You can now book our museum passes online!
