Salisbury Public Library is on the move…again ! 

• The last day for patrons to visit the Temporary Library at 167 Elm Street is Thursday, August 20.

• We will be closed beginning Monday, August 24 to start packing.

• We will open the new library on/about Monday, September 21.

• The book drop will still be available at this location until the new library is open. 

• While we are unavailable, you may use your card in any MVLC library. Those closest to us include Newburyport, Amesbury, Merrimac, Newbury and Rowley. A complete list is available at the front desk. In most cases, you will need to have your Salisbury library card with you.

• You may still request materials through interlibrary loan while we are closed - just choose another library as the pick up point. (There is a drop-down menu on the final step of the interlibrary loan process when you place your request.)

• If you’ve already placed an interlibrary loan that has not been filled, you can change the pick up location. Go into your account, click on “Holds” and then “Edit” – choose another location from the drop-down menu provided.

• See you soon at our new library at 17 Elm Street!

You can now find our latest book and video arrivals by clicking on the Wowbrary logo wherever it appears on our site.  You can also sign-up to receive our email newsletter that lists the books and videos, along with a wealth of other information that you should find interesting and informative.
Freegal is a free music service offered by your library.  All you need is your library card number and pin.  Each patron can download three songs a week from Freegal's library of over 8 million songs.  You can visit their website or download the free app at the Apple or Google Play store.
The Salisbury Public Library is now participating in the Commonwealth eBook Collections.

There are currently over 177,000 titles to choose from.  You can read eBooks or listen to audio versions on your computer or mobile device.

Our Sunset cruise on Friday evening, August 14th, was a huge success.  Thank you so much for your attendance and a great big thank you to the Captain's Lady III and DJ John Byra.  It was the absolutely most perfect night!!!   Congratulations to all our raffle winners. A shout out of thanks to our Library Director, Trustees, Friends,  Selectmen and our own wonderful Senator Katy O'Connor Ives.  See you at the new Salisbury Public Library in late September.
