Curbside Pickup Is Here! 

The Salisbury Public Library is offering curbside pickup Monday through Friday 10 AM to 6 PM. In order to keep all patrons and staff safe the building will be closed to the public. To maintain contactless curbside pickup please follow the steps and protocols below for placing a request and safe pickup. 

How To Place A Request:

There are 2 ways to place a request: Through your online account OR by directly contacting the library via phone or email.

  • Log into your account via the online catalog to place a hold on desired materials. Follow the steps below and once the items are ready the library will contact you to schedule a pickup time.
  1. Go to the Salisbury catalog
  2. Log into your account in the top right corner. (PIN/Password: Last 4 digits of phone number or library card number)
  3. Search and click “Place Hold”.
  4. When items are ready the library will contact you to schedule a pick up day and time.
 
  1. Library card number
  2. Title, Author, Format (DVD, Audiobook, Large Print, etc.)
  3. Date and time of pickup

Curbside Pickup Procedures:

  • Upon arrival at your designated pickup time please wait in the car and call 978-465-9082 Option #4.
  • Requested items will be placed on the bench outside the main entrance. Please wait until staff is inside the building.
  • Please wear a mask when outside when picking up your bag.
  • If others are picking up bags, please maintain social distancing.
  • All returned materials go into the book drop, no exceptions.

With Kanopy, Salisbury Public Library Patrons Will Have Access to more than 30,000 Films, For Free

The popular on-demand film streaming service Kanopy is now available for free through the Salisbury Public Library. Salisbury card holders can access Kanopy and sign up to start streaming films instantly by visiting https://salisburylibrary.kanopy.com/

Films can be streamed from any computer, television, mobile device or platform by downloading the Kanopy app for iOS, Android, AppleTV, Chromecast or Roku.

  • Wowbrary: Sign up to receive weekly email notifications about new titles at the SPL.
  • BookPage: They are offering issues online for free (Please note we may not have all of these titles.)
  • Novelist: Use your library card number to log into this database for assistance finding your next title.

Friends Fundraisers

There are many ways that you can support the Friends of the Library with their fundraising efforts.
  • Visit the Book Nook at the library. A wide variety of second hand books is available for purchase.
  • Become a Friends Member.  Your small membership fee supports the many events and activities sponsored by the Friends.
